Nothing is true? VW’s are slow. Your VW may be quick as compared to other VW’s but not other car manufacuters cars. Your picking fights you can’t win. Maybe we’d have more respect if you were a bit more humble on here and just accept that your car can’t match up to these cars your calling out. My car is probably the closest bet to a decently close race. I ran a 5.0 mustang with an exhaust earlier this year with JUST an exhaust and running 87oct and I got pulled about 3 cars. Why don’t you run one of those?

true that but your cars barely is pushing 200whp with your current setup. The 5.0 has a lighter shell and is probably putting some decent powerdown.

Eh with the intake, exhaust, chip and such i should SUPPOSEDLY be putting a little over 200whp out. I ran my friends stock auto 5.0 and beat it, i ran the other one which was a 5 speed and he pulled me. they supposedly have about the same output to the crank from the factory as well which is why i figured i could have pulled it. it took him til he shifted in 4th to really start pulling away from me, before then it was pretty even from 40-85. I will run him when i get the bmw finished. it WILL be out in spring. I’ll PM him once i know for fact that its ready to go. Theres no point in running anyone in my VR, it serves better purpose as a looks car.

I like them they are nice cars but leave the racing to the big boys please and try to get some good reliability out of your dub. That sucks man do you have vagcom, maybe you lost the software. I’ve never driven in a chipped vr6 so I wouldn’t know what kind of power it has, I’ve driven a stock vr6 at the infinity dealer in williamsville and a vr6 with exhaust.

The chip really just gets rid of the lag between certain rpms in certain gears. 6th gear pulls a tiny bit harder. over all with the intake it gave me about 6hp and 10tq. But overall my car is pretty slow. i have a pretty nice suspension setup on the car and it handles amazing which is why i love the car. its a ton of fun to auto-x, which is why i bought it in the first place
