89 240sx - the brake pedal has suddenly become extremely stiff. Brake fluid is fine so I’m assuming its the brake booster. Any other culprits that could cause this?
Chech the vacuum line for cracks, then suspect the booster.
I have a Z32 Booster if u need.
wouldnt the filter behind the brake pedal for the atmospheric pressure also do this?
I’m gonna agree with Nis240, odds are pretty good the filter on the booster won’t get that plugged
actually, stiff brake booster would be the brake booster. it must have a leak. check the seal that mounts the booster to the fluid resivior. Use water in a cup while the car is running and check for small leaks. It makes a HUGE difference. This once happend to me.
