Stupid Bag ex POS honda owner who kept his car at my house for months on end also left this 300zx Intake manifold laying around. So I was bored and decided to make an attempt to make it look pretty.

Before: Not the actual one. His was far dirtier :frowning:

After:

Came out ok for doing it in the dark in less that ideal temps.

not bad not bad

Looks nice man.

Could be better, could be worse.

By the time I got it prepped and some water passages dremeled off the sun had set and of course bag wants it back today so I sprayed on by basically candlelight and was sort of pleasantly surprised this morning when I looked at it.

Its just dangling in the breeze curing up a bit more but for the car its going on…it will be the best looking thing there. :xoxo:

yeah those plenums can get awfully dirty with the wrinkle finish. That looks good and will provide some great contrast.

lol @ best looking thing there

if the engine won’t run good, at least it’ll look good

and since you already blew my :snky: plan to clean up the engine bay, might as well post pics of these:

new mirror finish Twin Turbo badge:

and matching throttle cable cover:

pics of everything in the car and completed coming to a thread near you

I see that horrible powertirx logo in the reflection of your throttle cable cover… what else did you get?

just doing the cover and badge…and the paint on the plenum…might paint a few other things in the bay to match…but for now with just those 3 things i’ll be very happy with the improved look of the bay. Already had the stainless hardpipes to match…

too much other shit to worry about right now before i go crazy on the cosmetics of the bay…i just didn’t wanna keep my beat to shit stock cable cover on the nice newly painted plenum…and the old tt badge on my plenum looks ok in that pic, but it’s pretty beat too…

Should look better

My cover has been on the wall in my garage for 2 years now, lol.

What did you use for paint?

Engine 500 degree primer paint and clear

Looks good. actually it looks more like Powder Coat.

very nice

Cool deal.
