From what I hear we dont have to claim it either. That would suck if they gave us “free money” and then when taxes come around next year we would have to claim it as a gift, which would get de-ducted from a refund. That would blow.

Let’s be honest, the people that don’t get a check will get the tax increase to pay for it.
I’ll be using it August 1st to help pay for moving expenses.

Spend that stimulus on crappy consumer goods so that you can pay those who own appreciating assets, in trade for the increase in tax that they will pay to cover that stimulus.
