this thing fucked college students and their families bad. If you were over 17 and claimed as a dependent, than not only did you not get your $600, but your parents didn’t get the extra $300 for you either. Pretty sweet when you likely paid more tax into the system than a lot of people who got the full 600 :mad:

Eff, my fiancee is going to be pissed. She just graduated from college this spring, and her parents claimed her as a dependent.

She is NOT going to be pleased as she thought she was getting a rebate as they sent her a notice saying she would recieve one.
