sometimes. yes, yes i do. All I meant by that is that, for the sake of this argument, going 70 mph, which is a reasonable speed, is more unsafe than a mild “launch”.
Well thank you to Josh and the others who understand what this was. I never said I cared about snow tires more than my family. I was simply trying to liven up a pretty boring story for the sake of a thread in an internet forum, to entertain anyone interested in a “kill”, in the kill section. Not for it to be dissected and told that I don’t value the lives of my family because I briefly accelerated over the speed limit. I thought this was a forum to discuss cars.
Again, just to reply to this directly, I never said I cared about the tires more than my family. I said I was taking it easy on the tires, and then stopped caring about the tires and launched it a little harder. Thats all I meant.
And again, how is this any different than going 70 on the street, with my pregnant wife, when we are just accelerating down the thruway?
