As a lifetime 4th gen fbody guy, I bought a 91 Silver notch with a 5 speed last summer to mess around in. It had full exaust and it was slammed. We took it on some trips and my girlfriend wheeled it most of the time. It just never felt right to me. It was a fun car and I ended up selling it last fall for 500.00 more than I bought it for. They are fun to mod and drive, so I say go for it.

There are 1,000,001 recipes to make a Fox chassis do about anything you want it to, for cheap. But stock for stock, 4G Fbods have better susp
I really do not like the 4GFB interior layout, but a FX interior is bad in a different kind of way. I guess they are both an acquired taste
302s will always sound better then LSx cars

Just put an ls1 in the mustang and you will be happy,LOL.I am not a ford guy but i have driven a few,they seem like fun.Anything can be made to run fast,its all in what car brand or brands you like.Hell i love Mopars but i am driving a 86 buick t type and like it also.But from what i have read it seems like the fox bodys are a great platform to start modding.

Buy a SN-95 bitch body mustang 94-95. Still has the 5.0 but the new chassis.
You ditch the wet noodle/flexi flyer Fox chassis.

Damn that blue 5.0 up top seems like a decent 10 second car for the $. But it, spray it, have fun. I like the look and interior of certain FBod’s better but if you’re just looking for something to play with Fox’s are fun. Drop an '03 Cobra motor in one and have some REAL fun.
5.0’s are fun as hell. Like a go-kart compared to an f-bod.
Get a 5spd… autos will bore you no matter what.
The blue one in BDRs link is pricey… but quick.
Buy it. Don’t even think about it just do it. That’s a lot of bang for the buck. I don’t like the wheels but you could save them for track wheels.
Why not an LTx?
I’d buy something pre-modded for sure,better in the long run because its only something you’ll end up doing anyway.
5SPD or C4/C6 Trans only.AOD = crap for bracket racing.
Beauty of the 5.0 is the fact if you break something you’ve got a million dirt cheap ford exploders to pluck engines/rears from.:tspry:
