My friend (hes on here, but asked if i would post when i got a chance) has a 1995 5.0 Mustang with H/C/ full exhaust etc. Car is making 301 rwhp on motor. His initial goal for his build was to be able to take down a stock Ls1 off the bottle. However, a stock LS1 is hard to come by these days, at least of the people that i know. Can anyone accommodate? 6sp, A4 doesnt matter, lid/ catback ok, looking for something stock- stock ish.
Big ed? Stock gears/stock rear end/stock bottom end/stock heads… Basically a stall/and exhaust setup with 100k+ on it

weight reduction out the ass, full exhaust, HAS run a 12.1 (?) not the average stock Ls1

I have a stock LT1 that makes about that same amount of power. Un-built… God mustangs are slow.
yeah, went to the 1/4th, ran like complete crap (traction issues) 13.1 @ like 112 on the 125 zex shot. I believe he went 8.6’s @ 81-83 at lancaster on motor. I think his car will be a good match for a stock Ls1, trap speeds say the ls1 may pull a little up top, but thats what we are trying to find out.

A bolt on Ls1 will trap that
all that work for nothing, like putting lipstick on a pig
its a 5.0. If you think about it, its not bad considering that the car made prob 185whp stock and would be a VERY high 14 if that, trapping low 90’s. Its all relative. If its what someones likes, then thats what they like, so they mod that car. This is why people mod VW’s and Hondas :D.
