LS1 swapped Foxbody

I’m starting do some research on this anyone have any thoughts? links?

Seems like a LS1 + Th350 would be pretty cheap

Trying to find info on building a fuel system or other misc issues I would encounter.

You can find pretty nice notchback rollers between 1-4k with aftermarket suspension and other goodies

IB4shitstorm

lol why a shit storm lots of people do the swap…

Mustang owners just hate it…

don’T wanna do a fire bird? Ls1 better have a giant snail intake otherwisE its just another ls1 swapped car, which seams more common then any thing else these days. Boring

Mustang weighs less
Mustang suspension pieces are cheaper
Mustang has a 8.8 no need to drop 3k on a 12bolt

And turbociv after I do the swap you can quote me a turbo kit :-p or just duplicate Drews

Agreed. The novelty of LS1s in anything has worn off. It’s certainly one of the most efficient swaps, but it really comes down to what your goals for the car will be. Either way, something tells me that LZ is sticking with the LSX platform. lol

The whole concept was its cheap and you go fast…

H/C LS1 will run forever and do mid-low 10s in a 2800lb Fox with a high stall and auto…throw on some spray and you’re running 9s.

I was looking at other possible options this seemed like the most cost effective and all of the parts are highly available.

Seems like I could put this together fairly quickly

How “cheap” would this be? Just curious…

There are a TON of LSx swapped Foxes down here in Texas…at the end of the day it still looks like a TEMPO with an UBER nasty interior.

Check out LS1 forum there have been a ton for sale, I’ve seen them ranging from 4-6K already swapped.

LOL this would be hilarious to see run at a moms event.

lol I like the way they look…

I have been going back and forth over what to do and I want a WS6 TA to cruise and not hack up…

I was about to pull the trigger on doing this toward the end of last summer. It seems fairly easy to do. I got dicked around by retards and moms racing hicks on some nice rollers and just shelved the idea for the time being. Pretty much shell + motor/trans/harness + AJE k member + kooks or dynatech headers and your good to go (well at least those are some of the major parts)

lol I have been chasing guys around on there about rollers for a couple months…

Some people also want wayyyy to much for their POS rollers

I’ll sell you my WS6 after I do a few wheelies with it.

AND just buy my Camaro SS it already has an Ls1 swap :stuck_out_tongue:

search forums to find an already done one. You’ll spend a ton less money and you can build from there after all the hard work is done.

Seams like a very affordable way to go fast. Just tired of seeing ls1’s in every thing.lol but it Is a proven platform/motor combo so u really can’t go wrong.
