I’m at my parents, and the fucking stove just took over an hour to preheat to 400. Bogus. Anyone know what could be wrong with the POS? I’m guessing something is leaking and/or clogged. It’s gas.
check for rodents in your gas lines.
Get a new stove
Disconnect the gas line and install a NOS tank with a regulator. Should be all set after that. Bill is in the mail.
If its an older stove it may take awhile
Mine takes about 30 mins or so to preheat to 375
is the range liquid propane or natural gas?
If it was leaking you’d smell the gas.
Is the range electronic ignition or pilot light?

If its old its probably just on its way out. Thats way too long to preheat. If you really want to try and fix it clean the gas lines. (My dad made me watch him do this shit so id learn.)
Don’t you love dads? It seems pointless at the time but some of the stuff he’s taught me has been quite useful.
