Streaming Media on Xbox360 using MP11...

I want to stream media from my PC to my 360 using MP11. The only problem is that I can’t get MP11 to recognize my 360 or vice versa, even though they are on the same network. I tried to look up info on common problems, but keep getting the same answers and what not so now I’m stumped. When I do a Test Media Connection, it gets down to PC Selected and fails. Anybody have any suggestions?

if using xp you need media extender from ms, goto ms and do a search for media center extender.

I did it before just by using TVersity. Check up on it.

EDIT: zune doesn’t support avi files :frowning: i might have to see if I can’t get MP11 to work still…

actually, I’m almost positive that the xbox doesn’t support that format either.

I’ve tried and couldn’t get it working. Converting them to WMV’s worked like a charm though
