Actually just depends on how big your balls are and how much you want to push that particular vehicle…
:tool: :tool: :tool: :tool: :tool: :ban: for talking about your small penis and talking about a engineering degree. when shit dont mean shit on here
Lets say you have elaphantitus sized balls. Which you probably have. Your still not going to be able to pull .98g’s in a car that will pull .85g with a regular driver.
Lt1power brought up the degree. I didn’t.
I like how your comebacks have nothing to do with what I was even talking about.
:owned:
a Z28/Trans Am, typically pull about .88g
an SS/WS6/Firehawk pull around .93g
a Firehawk or SS with the Stage 3 suspension pull 1.02g (SLP 1LE, using optional BFG G-force KD 275/40/17 tires factory option)
I wasn’t trying to make anyone look dumb. Just throwing out some info. That’s why I was glad to see other tests added to some car magazines (I think Motor Trend) where they added some figure 8s and other stuff.
And yes a day at Beaver Run would be cool! What better way to go through brakes and tires?
Burgh89GT is mine once again
a bone stock 85 cavalier would pull 1.00g with 10.5" of KD rubber… :eek3:
i had BFG G-Force KDs on my old C4…they r sweet. also, F-bodys do handle pretty decent…just my .02
i plan on getting kd’s next time around 315
315’s on F-bodies
doubtful
but the BFG G-force KD is an awesome tire
if it was so aweosme you woulndt have swapped them for m/t’s the night we raced
every time i came out to race somethg broke a 45 min ride from jj’s home without 1st geer isent fun
I love how people in Pittsburgh are so quick to argue. I never said anything about Fbodies being bad handling cars. Can someone pull up the quote of me saying that? I’ve owned 3 F bodies…I am well aware of how they handle. The reason I mentioned the f body in my post was because alot of people who are predominantly straight line racers drive F bodies or mustangs…simple as that. I wasn’t getting on anyones car at all. Fact is that f bodies have a solid rear axle and that is a crutch for the car, Honda’s are fully independent suspensioned but they are front wheel drive…both have ups and downs, I just would like to race a day at beaver run. I do know that modified Honda’s are well capable of 1.4+ g’s on the skidpad…hell I just datalogged a 93 civic in the rain pulling .96-.99 and it wasn’t breaking yet…I think it would’ve gone 1.1. At the same time the torque of the 350’s will give the f body cars good exit speed out of turns and strong straight line performance. I think its a good competition…high weight, high displacement, rear wheel drive, versus front drive, lightweight, high rev. Basically what it comes down to is I am tired of hearing about drag racing…its one piece of many. All you Fbody guys that thought I was criticizing your car need to calm down, I was doing no such thing.
i thought no such thing. i just started talking shit, one of the things mentioned in post #1. I love all kinds of cars even hondas,
Talk to Whitey about that. He had his VW at Beaver Run and had trouble keeping up with the higher powered cars on the straights but would start to catch up through the turns. Exactly what you’re talking about.
A Pittspeed day there would be awesome. At least until someone crashes.
I wasn’t running KD’s… and the KD is a handling tire. The Drag Radial is for drag Racing.
but since I had Mickeys which were better, why not use those.
and don’t bitch kurt, run what you brung.
