Streetfighters are cool as shit, but aerodynamics are important, as had been stated already.
Certain bikes however just don’t look good naked. Depends on the bike and supporting mods.
I love streetfighters, and might do the r1 up one of these days. After 2 years of riding with no fairings it’s nice to have a windscreen though.

here’s the issue. A street fighter either looks siqq, or f’ing hideous. I HATE tails on SF’ers that point upward, looks like someone kicked it in the ass. I like the solo seats without the tail, when the rear wheel is actually the furthest point of the bike.
After I’m finished with bike I’m building, the next will be a sportbike, ultimatley my ideal streetfighter.

I like to ride naked, obviously. At first I kinda wished I had a windscreen, but I learned how to tuck in right so the wind doesn’t toss me around so much.

I have grown to like both. Each have their advantage for sure. I love the look of streetfighters, they look more like a machine that can hurt someone.
