^yea me to lol.but in my opinion it isn’t a bad idea but it is gonna factor out to money and time spent and value after u get sick of them next fall. I’m pretty sure they won’t be worth a lot. But your wheels do what ever u wanna man. Use good paint.
do they actually come apart? if not, keeping the lip from being blasted is going to be a pita for Jesse, and more work to prep for powder. I did centers for Tinsgril’s Jetta for ~$30 or $40 ea in RAL 9004 White Aluminum powder which is pretty close to wheel silver, and that was the centers and caps. If they don’t come apart b/c they’re cheap knock offs, get Works and be done with it.
I scuffed, primed and painted my wheels on the civic in Rustoleum Safety Blue with no problems. My last 3 bikes were primed and painted with engine enamel and held up perfectly. Even got cleaned with wd-40 regularly.
