Strut Mount / Tower Question

Ordered new front strut mounts and the company sent the wrong ones. The only difference is the studs on the mount are off by a bit. One stud lines up fine, another is a hair off and the third is 1/4 inch off or so. I really need to get the car on the road quickly, would you wait the 4 days or w/e for a new one to come in or just widen one tower hole a little and drill a new third hole? Is that really going to hurt durability of the shock tower? It’s an e36 bmw if that matters.

I would definitely wait. Wouldn’t even consider the other option.

I’ve done 100+ hours of hard racing with re-drilled strut towers, and eye ball the alignment.

That said, you should wait.
