Knowing that I’d have at least an hour free tonight at work, I decided to change my shock/strut assy’s. Remove front RH side, start to install the new one, and I need to enlarge the holes in the tower. No big deal. I get a 13/32" drill and go to town. Install the strut, and the fucking nuts that they provided are the same size/pitch as the OEM (smaller ones):retardclap. Ended up having to find some nuts that were close in size, and tap them out.
So I move on to the other side, remove strut, enlarge the holes, and the replacement for the LH side is the same size stud as OEM:retardclap. Whatever, both sides had already been enlarged once in the past.
Just a heads up. I inventoried the parts before I did the job, but I didn’t go as far as to take the nuts out of the bag and check the sizes.
Customs and Border Protection in Plattsburgh. Reason for having the metric tap/die set is the french helicopters we have. Dude, we are so overdue to party it’s not funny. Are you going to GNR Nov 23?
