this is the 2nd time in about 5 months i’ve had this happen to me. for a while i had a little vibration when i accelerated, but it was barely noticeable. well the other day i decided to stomp the gas to the floor and WHAM, the tranny sounded like it was about to come through the floor and end up in my lap. the tranny mount broke, AGAIN. what in the hell would make this think keep doing this? it’s easy to fix, but it’s just a nuisance.
maybe i’ll just duct take the tranny to the crossmember next time, or maybe ratchet strap it. how about jb weld, or a combination of all 3. that should hold it :mullet:
get a poly one
who makes them and who sells them? i called summit yesterday (waits for reference to http://www.pittspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17793) and they don’t carry any by anyone. i figured if they anyone had them, they would.

i only call it that when it pisses me off. although it might be getting called the camurrrrrro now with it’s clunking ghetto broken ass.
I bought one but took it off because it vibrated so bad. When I got mine, there wasn’t really one made specifically for the newer f-bodies, but everyone seems to use the one tj linked to (notice it says 67-02 f-body). Supposedly it’s height is a little bit off.

I got Tranny mount (energy suspension) not to long ago from summit. But any GM style tranny mount will work
