I have this 2001 GT convertible that I bought to impress forum chicks and I’m getting zero midrange or bass out of it. It did not come with the Mach 460 package, just the basic 4 speaker setup. However, it does have a 6 disc in dash Ford head unit which might or might not have come with the car from the factory. No loose wires, no previously butchered installs. Any ideas?
Give me that old dodge and ill fix the bass issue
If it had a system at one point there might be bass blockers installed on the regular speakers
^What he said. If there is nothing behind the radio then pull a door panel off and check behind the speaker. Also, probably a dumb question, but have you tried messing with the EQ settings?
If you want to possibly swing down to my ‘shop’ sometime this weekend, I can take a quick peak at it and see if there is anything that stands out.
Ive been driving the Dodge! Years of neglect seem to have been good for it.
Thanks, Kenny…probably gonna be at the show in Saratoga this weekend, but if I cant figure it out soon ill have to book an appointment.
