alright i have had this problem ever since i got the focus running again. it looks like it is leaking oil from where the windage tray meets the oil pump. but i have redone this like three times and it has not helped at all. now i think it is just leaking around the oil pump and just trickling down to the windage tray. it only leaks when the car is on to. so could this be the oil pump leaking where it meets the block?
never mind i figured it out it is where the oil pump meets the block or its the front main seal. its problay the front main seal. its a pain in the ass to get to .
ouch man good luck. mine leaves a drop the size od a nickel overnight all the time ever since i went turbo and had to swap the pan.
^when i layed the gasketmaker i forgot to make a circle around a few of the bolt holes, so its slowly passing through the threads of the bolts and leaving enough residue to just drip
that sucks. atleast you dont have to pull off the oil pump to replace the front main seal. like i do.
