It’s not just northtown, 75% of the dealerships are morons in the service department. If I need anything for my honda from the dealer I have to go in there and point to them which thing I want on the diagrams in order for those retards to understand.
Anyways, Jay I wish you the best of luck with your car and that humors me when you said they told you the suspension is going to fuck up your gears. If it does, then subaru should just make cars with no suspension travel and solid axles haha
I remember Northtown being pretty ghey about mods, but I managed to work around that. So far the only mod friendly dealers I’ve come across are VW of Orchard Park AKA Autohaus and Towne BMW (I was actually surprised about that one)
Something to keep in mind is to act professional when you deal with douche bags that work at the dealerships. It’s funny how much further you get in a button down shirt acting “mature” than wearing some DC gear and acting “cool” and like they owe you something.

i deal with dealership folk about 30 times a day with my job, i know how they are.
they are normal dudes just working their job, trying not to sacrifice too much company money at the end of the day.
i try and act professional for the most part, but sometimes a quick little “regular customer” attitude can open some doors…
dropped my car off today, got a call back at 4:30. not bad
steering angle sensor will be replaced next week wed, no questions asked…
i guess they came through, for now.
