Hey guys, does anyone know who makes the STi Side-Feed 550cc Injector? I am trying to track down this exact injector;
The STi Injectors are the closest I can find, along with the Apexi 404-N004, they appear to be a cross between the two injectors- one has a different connector and costs 4 times as much, and the other has a different bottom. The best I can find is a JECS injector, though they are always the wrong size/color when I find them.
PS- the company above, Deatschworks, is NOT the manufacturer, and those injectors are actually the wrong size, but are identical, at least in the picture, to what I am after.
LOL, even that post says that JECS is a possibility…geeze.
(Anyone wanna take bets on JECS making them for Denso or vise versa? the two parts are just too damn similar to not be related if the STi ones are really made by Denso)
Well, since I started this thread I may at least answer it…
And the answer is: JECS/Hitachi!
I have in my hands a set of APEXi injectors, which are identical to the above with the exception of the connector style. On the side of them is a “uj” symbol… I didnt think much of it, until I just stumbled onto this picture of a JECS LH-Jetronic ECU.
So there you have it, not Denso, though Denso may be a redistributor for them. Now the question is, where in the fuck to I find these for a reasonable price? Apexi wants 210.00 EACH {insert out of fucking mind here}, while my competition sells them, modified, for 77.00 each, and Subaru still wants 119.00 each List. There has to be an importer for these damn things.
