subframe bracing install e46 325 coupe

not sure if this in the proper section,
looking to hire some one to install the subframe brace kit so I do not have any worries with the subframe splitting thanks

I vote TurboCiv. I need mine done as well but am waiting till spring when i get a new diff and replace all the bushings.

What company did you do with for the bracing?

i havent yet, im so lost people say do it people say dont, my coupe has 80k miles, doesnt seem to have any issues it also does not have the power of a m3,

Have the forward left mount inspected. If the unibody is not showing any cracks, leave it alone.

Since you have a 2001 they are less prone to having the subframe issue. Don’t touch it.

99/2000 are the most common. But all Pre-facelifts have reports of subframe damage. so 99-02. Facefilt also started in 02 and they report less problems. but also 323 and 325 and the ///M’s report most problems.

If your leaving the car stock don’t worry about it though. Check it once a year by pulling up your rear carpet and spare tire and look around for cracks or tares. The cost of preventing it really does not offset the cost of the high price to do it. Also the plates can still be used at the early stages of taring if it does happen to you.
