Ahhhhh, well…, I have had a longhorn beta release installed and running on my machine with no TPMfuckthing so unless it gets added btw Beta1 and rinal release that article is BS. Besides, why would they want to restrict themselves from selling to users who dn’t have a box with that chip and who want to upgrade?

The early beta (which would usually be pretty slow) actually seemed faster on my computer than XP. I don’t have anything special. XP 2400 @ 2.25GHz, 384MB DDR266 @ 300 MHz. PATA drive.
