on the belkin? post the instructions that you have found for windows. There is likely a work around.
Yeah on the belkin, but I’ll need to know for when the Buffalo comes in as well. OK I just found this, but right now its is making little sense to me, HAHA Im gonna have to go through it a few times. I dont get how to “log onto” the router.

I’ve recommended the wrt-54g to tons of people and never had anyone have issues with it. Slap the latest official firmware from linksys on it, setup your WPA security, then forget about it. Once or twice a year you might have to power cycle it if it locks up but that’s it.
I’ve got a laptop, desktop and iphone running wirelessly plus a desktop, xbox 360 and dish network receiver hard wired. My brother in law drops by and hops on my network with his itouch. None of these machines ever get dropouts.
to log into the router you use a web browser
- open browser(safari, firefox, crapnet explorer, etc…)
- navigate to the ip of the router. ex: http://192.168.1.1 IF that does not work, try http://192.168.0.1
- Enter username and password. usually admin/admin (username/password)
Hmm Neither seems to work.
what is your ip address?
192.168.2.2
192.168.2.1
that is it
Oh fantastic. Thanks
Edit: Oh but WTF it already has the 4.05.03 Firmware, which for the V.2000 of my router thats the newest. Can it be reloaded ?
could try reloading it, but I am not sure that it would help much. Give it a shot though, what’s the worst that happens? It breaks?
LOL Yeah then Id be down to the only computer thats hardwired HaHa I’ll wait until the buffalo comes in to start messing with it
