so why is someone giving YOU 3k if you are asking US these questions? he should take it to a professional - not saying you don’t do good work, but are you insured/bonded aka if his car burned up while you were working on it, will he be fucked, or covered?

re: audio, everyone has their favorite brands, I for one have never been impressed by ANYTHING from Kicker - since you have a decent budget, you need to decide, is it just “I want loud to hear over wind noise” or “I want some SQ when the top is up” or… ? That would greatly influence any recommendations people could make. I’m much more into SQ than SPL but 'verts aren’t really conducive to that typically…

So you don’t like Kicker. I got that one. Any other Brands?

As for SQ and SPL; like I said. Need ideas for the Convertible.
