Suits, Ties, Shoes : Coppley, Boss, Burberry, Zegna, Allen Edmonds, etc.

Modified Version of Styleforum thread… Closet cleaning because i buy way too much shit and need to clear closet space so that I can keep buying more shit. This is just the first run… i’ve got a bunch more stuff. If there is a dude out there who is 40R and wants some mid to upper mid grade (on a broad scale) gear for pennies on the dollar this could be a good fit.

Very negotiable on this stuff for a local nyspeeder…

SF threads here: Suits & Jackets, Ties, Shoes ::: Not sure if I followed the rules so also using this thread for cross-posting purposes.

putting up a series of suits and sport coats for sale because I’ve dropped down a suit size from a 40 into a 38 in the last year after losing 10-12lbs.

Also adding some NWT ties that i’ve has sitting around and a pair of shoes i just picked up. I actually have some more stuff that may show up depending on how well this goes.

On all of the pants I’ve stated 32" waist and 30" inseam because I wear 32/30 OTR without hemming and I’m actually not entirely sure how to measure the pants so please bear that in mind.

First up are my Coppley suits for Saks. These are awesome quality suits with a lot of great features but they fit a bit big on me now. The hand is probably the softest I own other than my cashmere jackets. In the process of taking the pics I tried them on and really wish they still fit.

The measurements are identical for both suits. Tagged 40R, Chest 21". Shoulder 18", Sleeve 24", height 28.5". The pants are both 32 waist, 30 length, 9" opening at the bottom of the pant. There is 2" of material to let out on the pant legs and the sleeves. The style or line on the tag is Minelli or Miller. 100% wool, 3 button, single pleated pants, double vented jackets. Made in Canada. Retail on these was like $1,200+ each.

Each suit has about a dozen wears on them. dry cleaned after every couple wears.

$350 each OBO /// $290 /// $150

Shoes:

I just bought this pair of Allen Edmunds shoes off ebay and you know how it goes… they’re not going to fit into my line up even though they do fit well and are actually quite comfortable. Not sure what the style is called but I’m a size 9 and these fit true. They have a comfortable rubber sole that looks like it was recently done. They also have a removable insole.

They are more casual than the auction suggested, hence the resale.

$120 shipped. /// Now $90

updated SF threads with drops, updated here too… will trade for cool shit too

How tall are you for reference? I don’t know my measurements.

I wish you were tall so that these fit me.

I’m ~5’7", 160 - 165lbs lbs when I bought this stuff… the Aquascutum suit is one size smaller than the rest. That burberry jacket is hot like fire… someone needs to snag it.

you gotta know your jacket size… frig.

anyway, most of these jackets / pants have been tailored but all the material remains to bring it back out.

Also, i’m all about trading for neat stuff… stuff for the kids, wife, house etc. etc.

I really like those Allen Edmunds shoes…

yeah they’re pretty solid but they are more casual than i thought. if you work with a golf shirt and khakis they’re perfect but i want something more refined.

the quality on them is wicked, the finish is nice and they are super comfortable too… a great way to ease into $400 shoes
