So I was discussing with some other forum members about how things used to be around here. We had a great gang about 6-7 years ago and used to cruise up RT9 quite frequently. I think a lot of people have lost why we do this around here, it’s really for the love of ours cars.
With that said, summer is slowly whisking away, I am trying to organize a group to take the old-skool run.
Weather man Ryan says: 70 DEGREES AND PERFECT FOR FRIDAY NIGHT.
It goes as follows:
Meet @ Price Chopper in Colonie @ 1892 Central Ave # 26, Albany, NY @ 8:30PM
From there we will cruise down central ave and head onto I-87 going north. Cruise up 87 and get off exit 9, take exit 9 to the Super walmart for a break/hangout in their lot. Then cruise back down 9, get on the highway and head back to the lot.
If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I’m not tolerating people driving like morons the entire time. If that’s your plan dont attend. I understand people want to do spirited runs and that’s fine, but be away from the pack if your going to do that. Get ahead, whatever. This is meant to be fun, I dont want people thinking it’s racewars.
Feel free to post on any other local forums.
Let me know if your interested in attending by posting. I know it’s last minute, I apologize. Bring cameras, video cameras, whatever. Everyones welcome. Extend the invite to anyone who would be interested. CARS/TRUCKS/BIKES WELCOME :thumbup
