Summer START @ Dunnville Review / Pic's / Vid's / Thank You Thread!

Go with the HP+ i loved mine… you should have asked to go for a ride… the brakes where awsome…

LOL that was me kcuv and josh, wait til u see the pix though from that angle

we said “well i hope they all make this turn”

Definitely will next time. I rode shotty with the guy who had the red dsg 2.0t gti, and omfg could that guy drive. He gave me awesome pointers, and made my day much more enjoyable by riding along with me and showing me the ropes.

Ya i went with theblue (white evo) he had softer tires then me and the next step up pads… that car/driver where awesome… its nice to see the evo had more then i thought after I rode with him i pushed my car a bit harder… its nice when there are good drivers with a similar car to your own…

I had to work .

First off, on behalf of Bing and Myself I want to say thank you to everyone who came out! We had a few minor setbacks, but it couldn’t have been a better day

Thanks again to the rest of the staff for all your help; Rick, Mike, Mike, Brent, Justin and all of those who lent a hand who I may have forgot! Without you guys, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Thanks to all of the track-n00bs that came out today too! I hope you had fun, and left with a greater respect for your car.

There were a shit ton of people there today, and I apologize if there were some people I didn’t get to say hi to or chat with.

God I’m tired, lol

KCuv and Micah have their work cut out for them.

If you enjoyed yourself today, please join us at any of our regular track days throughout the summer! More Info HERE.

We’ll be doing the same style BBQ event at the end of the summer too

NOTE Someone left a helmet at the track! I’ve got it with me here, so PM me if you lost a helmet!

Thanks! I’m grateful for the compliment. I have no mercy on that green Neon. I built it to road course, and thats exactly what I did today. I drove the living shit out of it. If it breaks, theres a million other neons lying around M&M U Pull It.

yea justin it was def. the highlight of my day chasing you bumper to bumper around the track. even tho some other people didnt like it

This was a fucking blast, and I’m not burned, HAH. Nice meeting more of you and seeing so many new people join us on the track

Big thanks to Onyx, et al for putting it together. Thanks Bing for hooking me up with Jesse for the ride drifting, and thanks to Jesse for letting me. Thanks MPD for not killing my e30, letting me ride in the drift show, carrying my tires, instructing and showing me how much further I have to go. Thanks to all the guys that offered to help me with wheels/brake pads, the thought is appreciated I just prefer to do it myself… Thanks Chef Mike, again, for the food - it was a huge job to take on. Thanks to everyone in group A for driving responsibly and giving point bys at appropriate times (and then later people from group B during the open sessions).

I think I got everyone. I’m really tired, though. And my track pads stuck to my rotors so I couldn’t change them before I left the track… have to deal with it tomorrow, lol. I got at least 3 1/2 - 4 hours of track time… fucking hot.

Edit: And my wrist really hurts from shifting. I think I need to learn to relax my body a little more while out there.

it was fun as hell just to watch. i was debating whether or not takin my car out.

im gonna have to make it out to another track day and beat the piss out of it

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had today. It was well worth destroying my front tires. I will be back asap.

Thanks again to everyone who made this possible.

There were alot of fast cars out there today, and a few fast drivers. To the kid in the Red civic B16 swap hatch…your car was fantastic! I think we were just about even in turns, you may have had an edge on me. You did in the straights! Hope to share the track with you again!

I had a great time… lots of miles, and lots of ride alongs… great to put some more faces to the names even thought I’ve probably already forgotten some.

Just call them all Mike. I swear I met 4 Mike’s today, in addition to the ones I already knew.

my face and left arm are pretty red. just watching made me want to take a lap on the track, badly.

yea i thought the guy on the bike (oasis?) was gonna get hit. And  to the kid in the celica from indiana passing all of us on that one straight away.

i enjoyed just watching you run the track. everytime i looked you were buzzing the straight again.

Great times today, had tons of fun crewing for the Cup Lite car.

I haven’t read through this thread, but I want to thank all of the people that came out. You are what made this a great event.

I am roasted like a fucking chicken. The grease from the grill removed all of my sunblock and caused me to crisp like no fucking tomorrow!!!

Thanks again to all of the members that supported this event and to bing, Josh, Mike (MPD) and Rick for all of the hard work and planning to make this as large of a success as it was! And a very special thanks goes out to Dave Moffit for helping get all of the cars in at the gate, and even more so to larry (Slipstream…) for being the crutch behind the malfunctioning grills and getting as much food out the door as fast as possible. Without him the food portion would have been a major fail instead of a minor fail.

But seriously to everyone involved in all stages; planning, track management, flagging, cooking, tech, drivers, spectators, etc… EVERYONE involved in any role and the comradery that is shown at these events is what make them great!

they were just getting started
