fuck bying online…to guarantee what you want you must call has been my experience…and I feel ya on not getting parts…my oil/coolant lines should have been here last week, but no they won’t be here until tomorrow I hope or maybe friday! :rant:

i’ve ordered shit from summit at like 1 am and @ 12pm it was at my dads shop. Buying at summit is dumb because you pay ohio sales tax. if you call ahead and pay for it then go pick it up, that a better plan.
you only pay sales tax IF you pick it up, there’s no out of state sales tax on online orders :doh:

the issue is the fact that they now have a new warehouse and do NOT tell you if shit is coming from there UNTIL AFTER YOU ORDER… meanwhile i didn’t even know the nevada warehouse existed…
you can, but that’s when you pay sales tax, if you just order it off the website you dont’ pay sales tax. you only pay tax if you’re in the state you’re ordering/buying from. if you go TO ohio you’re subject to their taxes. i went out to pick my seat up and saved the 80 dollars freight charge but paid 30 for taxes

the nevada warehouse has been there a few years, course i order a lot from summit so i keep up on stuff
oh ok, they don’t let you beat the system, pay for parts on the net to save tax then pick up in person.
yeah i tried that with my seat and it dint’ work. sonny if it makes you feel better the new atlanta store might be up in time to ship you your parts before nevada does

and poeple that purchase shit out of state and DON"T pay local state sales tax on it really should be… especially if you’re going to use those parts as a write off for a company or something.

It is a stupid law, we laugh about it all the time. The poor guy right down the road pays more for parts less shipping than a guy 2 states over with shipping. Just plain retarded.

That happend to me once. Reason being is they may have run out of stock in the ohio store so instead of making you wait longer they just ship it form the nevada store.
Summit kicks ass in my opinion. I ordered my bull bar for my truck at 3am and it was there monday (no deliveries on sunday but I had the tracking number on sunday). I even got free 6 inch driving lights but they were on back order till 9/10…
LOL, i was poor at one time and still bought stuff for my camaro. Thank god those days are over. :kekegay:
