Pics are big so click to have your browser resize them, didn’t get around to it.

Glad to here the weather was nice and you guys had a good time. Can’t wait to see some more pics. You said you stayed local, where abouts did you go?

We took 9j down south into Hudson past kinderhook and all, probably a good 40/50 miles, then turned around when one of the members left their cell phone at a radio shack lol.

A little too much immature s**t going on for my tastes though from one of the riders that I wasn’t a fan of happening, other then that it was a great ride.

Thats to bad there was some riff raff, some times it seems impossible to leave it behind.

This was what my tire looked like after the ride.

No burnouts or nothing stupid either, riding two up really ate through the tire.

I didn’t think I was going to make it home when I was 75 miles away.

Cord pretty much all the way around.

poor tire, glad you made it home safe.

Wow dude, your nuts riding on a tire like that! I haven’t seen one that bad in a while!! Get a hold of my brother for a new one, he’ll get you taken care of and mounted up on a new one!

Nice stand too by the way, did you make that?

Yep I zigzaged for 75 miles of I 88 with the only time the center of the tire touching the ground is for me to switch directions, people must have thought I was either nuts or an idiot, untill I passed them and they saw the tire… then they just thought I was an idiot lol

I kept the tire as a trophy, I put on a new tire the other day, but I hate it, and it slid out on me the first night it being on and caused me to lowside at like 10mph on rt7 taking a turn onto it.

And the Stand is Courtesy of MeanDesigns, hell of a deal for 30$

It’s getting cold out too so you may not be hugging the road like you normally would in the summer time.

Yeah I’m familiar with cold weather riding, rode into December last year, but this tire I was somewhat weary off, because it has no wear bars and its a Metzeler, I assume its a race take off, so it needs to be properly warmed up before any sort of riding, which I obviously don’t get a chance to do on the street while commuting when you just take off.

Slid out on me like it was on butter, I loved the Pilot Powers and will swear by them all day everyday. Dunlops were slippery as hell, but this Metzeler I don’t even know if i can trust.

I had it laying around and due to me really needing a tire ASAP (see above) I threw it on.

You’ll know it’s a race take off if the sides of the tire have absolutely no tread on them. The treads are over heated leaving the center tread still there. To be honest race take off’s aren’t safe to run on the street in my opinnion. I run Pirelli Diablo’s on my R6, the high mileage tires so they’re a harder compound then most tires. I really like that tire and the Pilot Powers as well.
