ok well i have looked around for info on this turbo and it seems there is not too much information around on it. I have herd that it is better then the S15 turbo and I really just want to know what it is able of producing.

The GTI-R has a Garrett T28 fitted from factory which is balanced to give low lag with good mid range torque. The drawback of this turbo is that the compressor wheel is too small for very high outputs. 10-15psi max
Some people say that the exhaust housing is large and is somewhat laggy, some say that the turbo is a perfect for the SR or CA
The Turbine housing is a .86 A/R, and I believe the S15 is a .64 A/R, someone correct me if im wrong. From what I’ve read the GTI-R could possibly be roller bearing aswell.
If they were equally priced I’d go with the S15 turbo. Well, I did go with the S15 turbo.

Good to 20psi then it seems. Although keeping them up there will probably shorten the life significantly.
ya I would not run more then 15-16LBS
I think that will get me the 300WHP I am looking for,
I know one thing is that if I went external Wastgate on this turbo it would open up a LOT more for me, they say that Backpressure can build up becasue of the size of then Dump.
but I bet that is a probbly with most large internaly gated T3 and up Exhaust sides

Ya, it just used a T3 Exhaust side,
haha Dam I almost want to Externaly gate it just so I could use it to its max, meh O well,
in a month ill hit the dyno and we shall see what it actually does
What’s with the word Sunny before GTi-R?
don’t all GTi-R’s share the same turbo (Sunny/Pulsar)?
I am not totally sure but I think there was a little differance,
some of them have the normal T28BB and some have the T28/T3 Hybride
