Your from Stoney Creek too…I think I have seen your car around…I have the same lip as you. Good Luck!

I speak for JamesS when I say, don’t forget to invite us over to see the build in progress!

i sell u parts and this is how you thank me. i have to find out about it on here. geees
so what are you doing with the ka???
i maybe interested in her sr needs a refresh

Well at least my(now yours) nissan went to a good home.

if you decide to sell the motor computer combo, i can help whoever uses the bikirom.

let me know when you need help tuning the rb26det.

For Sure Man this is what i am thinking of getting for management http://www.greddy.com/products/display/?Category=electronics&SubCategory=47

With The Ka-t I was thinking of building it and dropping it in a s13 for drift since there are plenty of them around at junkyard when i crash.:stuck_out_tongue:

Now Dose anyone know how i would remove the undercoat on the bottom of the car i want to see and repair any rust then get it rhino Lined so it can last :).

I will keep yah guys updated as work progress on the car.

Thanks

the best and only way would be to have the underbody sand blasted.

for management, i can burn you a custom chip,

I spent sometime calling around today about sandblasting. Got some quotes but this one guy i talked with said he has done about 5 240sx this year already.:stuck_out_tongue:

“Ace Sandblast” is the placement i was wondering if anyone here has been there. But now i have to completely strip the car inside and out might as well do it all.

Now should i cage the car full / half what do yah guys think? I do want to keep the interior thou i like it a lot.

Thanks

Looks good so far, keep it up. Out of curiosity, what was the average quote to sandblast the underbody?

Under body + Engine Bay with 3 coats urethane primer was around 700

But that with you taking everything off motor, Suspension, Wiring, Fuel/Brake lines, Drive train and fuel tank.

Not to bad for a brand new bottom pretty much.

as for your bumper… i would find a scrap bumper(any car) cut peices for your wholes. ( jsut like welding in a rust repair patch) heat them with a heat gun to achieve the correct contour. then sand or grind to bare plastic on the patch and the bumper(leave a rough finish). get yourself some duramix or a 2part plastic repair adhesive. use the adhesive as a weld basically and glue your patches in… once they cure. you can do any filler work and prime that son bitch. or il come down there and steal it…lol j/p( i need a stock bumper)

good luck with her bro.
if u need any more info pm me. im a body man

jord

also i wouldnt suggest any sort of polyester resin or fiber glass on your bumper.

Looks like am going to the scrap tomorrow and i will give it my best. Thanks for the help i will keep yah all posted.

oh man… how much does that front lip weigh now?
thank god i bought the urethane one.
