surgeon_general's 1993 Eagle Talon

A while ago I had the non running car flat bedded to my house.
Parked over the winter, then slowly tore into it.
Basically I’m building it to take up PRP and have fun with it.
Not sure how much further I’m taking it, it has some good potential right now but it lacks a good tune. Eventually I’ll either make it a full drag car or buy a camaro, mustang or even a rough vette.
Its all up in the air.

Future goals for sure as of now are paint and redo the headliner.
The pictures are in chronological order for the most part. Sorry for the load of pictures. I just like my car alot. If you want some specs on it just ask but i doubt anyone cares that much haha.

yeah like jesse said its awd thank goodness.
I been driving it around breaking the turbo and stuff in fairly easy. not sure what its worth but all the oil lines and coolant lines are tested out everything passed no leaks.

I dunno jess when do you wanan go out. i might actually make test n tune this weds. got a basic tune on it now, you should come up with me and make sure i dont explode.

oh and beat 90, ask jesse if anything, I’m still learning what im doing i would not feel comfortable yet tuning anything but my own car as of right now.

I have some of the tranny all ripped apart but im at ccac bored as fck. and no the battery is not going back in the bay and no more shitty abs garbage.

with my current setup, if i could ever get it tuned right… Id like to be safely into the 12’s trapping around 120

couple setbacks. she gets a new water pump timing belt, headgasket and such though. guess it works out in the end.

well im bored and im happy so ill update the shitty talon thread.

id like to thank the dudes who gave me alot of info on the remote battery setup. it helped out alot. i have the 200amp breaker wired in right now but the kill switch i have im waiting to put in at a later date since i dont want to drill any holes in the back of my car right now. the battery is held down by 3/8th all thread (3/8s so its nhra legal) that go through the floor and into the sides of the unibody frame rail underneath. It turned out pretty dam good for what i was expecting. I got new rims too but thats a later date.

but yeah 14b sadly. still havent gotten the pte shipped out, the compressor cover got machined for a slightly bigger wheel since it was all chewed up, just needs rebalanced. fun to drive though for sure with the 14b.
