Suspicious fire destroys "vintage" car

What is your definition of “vintage”?

From the Buffalo News:

NIAGARA FALLS—A vintage car being restored by a 79th Street man was destroyed in a Saturday morning fire that officials have deemed suspicious.
An aerosol can was found near the dashboard of the 1983 Ford Mustang after it was destroyed in a 3:10 a. m. fire at the owner’s home, police said. An investigation into the fire is continuing.

Not that!!

Yeah… I’ve never really though of my definition of “vintage” but if I did, this would not be what first came to mind:

a vintage 83 mustang? really?

Someone in is under suspicion of Arson for trying to commit insurance fraud on a car that isn’t worth the metal it’s made of?

NEVER

Each motor vehicle department has varying definitions of the term antique vehicle. The state of New York for example, is much less discriminating in its definition than AACA (as with many other DMV’s across the US). New York’s DMV allows any vehicle in excess of 25 years of age to be issued historical or vintage plates. In order to qualify for these special license plates, however, the vehicle must be insured under a specialty insurance policy.

its Niagara Falls, what else do you expect?
