Swapped out to some new wheels...

So, I absolutely totally and utterly DESPISED the wheels that came with my Jeep. They just didn’t work with the looks at all, so I’ve been keeping my eyes out for the right deal and finally found a seller of wheels and tires I wanted and a buyer for the old wheels and tires within 20 miles of each other in NJ.

Old nastiness…

So, it was roadtrip time. The Jeep handled it nicely, no real problems. Estimated 16ish mpg on the way down and 18 on the way back, with the new AT-KOs (versus the Truxus MT I had on there before) and 30" tires (versus 31s before). The wheels need balanced pretty badly since there is a nasty vibe above 70ish, but other than that, they’re great.

New hotness…

The tires are a touch small, but for the price I paid, I couldn’t pass up the deal.

Agreed…those old wheels should have been left back in the 80’s.

when i first opened the thread, i thought the first pic was of the new ones, but now i see that is not the case

looks good

old is better

sell them to speedped?

That looks classy and bad ass at the same time.
But big knobbys with bead locks = tits in the future.

lifted camero with those wheels, Screems dirty… He’d love em, lol

Ugh those american racing ones, nasty

old whls were mad sexy

Yeah, it was funny with the old wheels. Everyone hated them, but was afraid to say stuff to me about them, thinking I bought them/liked them/whatever. So when I started making fun of the shitty wheels, I got a lot of people saying “Yeah, I hated those, but didn’t want to say anything about it”.

Those AR abortions are def the perfect speedpUd wheels.

 much better.

do you think they would clear STi brembos?

Maybe if they make em in 17". Those were 15’s.

Like the new ones so much more.
But you need to go back to 31’s.

Yeah, maybe if I find a decent set of 5…could even do 32s.

lookin good!

looks real good man

looks real nice. i like
