I have lower control arms, Spohn adjustable rear torque arm, 315 series goodyear eagle F1 supercar tires etc. Im lowered on the stock rear shocks still and I need adjustable shocks to get traction back along with relocation brackets. I already have adjustable front shocks on it and it handles amazing.
but yah, I prefer roll racing…and so shouldnt you with a turbo car.
i would have loved to see an IAT log of that VS say a precision 600 or 750… like i said, itll work. but 20psi on a 72mm turbo isnt really alot of heat compared to say 25psi from a 53mm or 57mm garrett( 3071 & 3076R) ya know what i mean? its not the boost pressure as much as the it is the heat. a larger turbo produces LESS heat at the same boost level as a small one does.
on the RX7. 10psi from the turbo he had and the ebay core would be fine. but 20psi and that core, its a different story… will it work, yes wil it work well… probably not.
I know exactly what you mean. I logged my IAT temps under WOT runs, and even on 80* days/nights my IAT’s never saw over 130…It helped that I had my fans turn on as soon as the car started and I had a 160* thermostat in it…all that stuff added up to a cool running car…also, my hood helped to release a shit load of heat.
a guy on VW Vortex logged a 3076R on a 91* day with a 600hp garrett core, at 24psi on pump gas. no meth or alk injection. and the IAT for a WOT pull in 3rd didnt go over 100* F
i said No meth. not equipped, none. non existant… but yes yours would have been lower with it, but the core is still not as efficient thats what im getting at.
