As Brent stated Valvoline Maxlife is good and so is Penzoil Platinum as far as off the shelf brands go, according to oil analysis on bobistheoilguy and people like Terry Dyson.

Mobile 1, or Amsoil are all I have ever run in my cars regardless of mileage. Never blown an engine yet and I drive my car really hard.
Mobil 1 is a blend… its not full synthetic… FYI

Well it will be abused for sure lol, its rwd turbo. But i just wasnt sure if it was safe to switch to synthetic at 120k.

Not necessarily, I mean drain intervals of 8-10 thousand or more miles could be about convenience too.
Just run Castrol GTX 10w40. Thats all ive run in all my Conquests, and they’ve all had over 100k miles…cept my new engine obviously. Synthetic is a waste of $ on an old clunker. And why are you changing the oil? I did an oil change on that thing about 1000 miles ago.
