Its not buying a slow car that is a better platform. Its buying a car with potential thats a better platform. The 4g63 has an intensively long list of avaliable parts, and has proven itself time and time again to be able to be quite the powerhouse. Along with many of the other parts on DSM’s being able to withstand alot of power. Stock rears, t-cases have no problems holding up to 10second power. So wether you bought it when it was running the stock 15.1’s, or modified to 13’s, its a better platform than a 17.1 second car with little to no potential withought completely changing the vehicle. I.E engine swaps etc.

Its just less impressive i suppose to buy an already ‘quick’ car and make it a little quicker.

Just my opinion. I have nothing against any vehicle, anything can go fast with enough knowledge and money. It just matters what people prefer.
