I want a t56 in my small block blazer sooooooooooooo bad. A buddy of mine has one behind his 435hp small block in a 94 s10.

I might try and get a nv3500 or something for mine.

Best setup is my buddy with a 34 Ford Roadster with a quickchange rear. 10 minutes and he can go from 2.88’s on his way to the track to 4.56’s and ripping down the 1/4 mile.

don’t forget his tire size. he can run 30" if he wants. 4.88 with a 6spd with the atleast 28" is fine. i bet 30 would be better

You’re right. I’m thinking more along the lines of an s10 with a small diameter tire required, especially with extensive suspension modifications/body drops.

also dont forget ill be able to turn 7500 rpms so that gear and tire size will still allow me to turn 135mph in 4th if needed

and in 6th gear with the 4.88s and 30" tall tire at 70mph ill be 2k rpms

like brian said and Don said with the new motor T56 and 30" and 28" tall tires ill be set. the design of this build will allow me to turn rpms and make that power up top. this wont be a torque monster it will be freaking beast on top

dont know yet, i do know im going to get it freshend up and either sell it or have it sit around incase i ever finish my mustang LSX project. same thing with my 3800 converter

what tires will you use on the street that are 28-30 inches tall? would you be using ET streets or something like that… or will you not be street driving it much?

my 20s are 29.7" tall, my 16s are 30.4" tall

my ET streets are 28s

Mine runs 70mph in 6th at 1600 rpm with a 27" tire and 3.73 gear. I’m goin to 4.56 (only 3 ratios available - 3.73, 4.10, 4.56 for my 14 bolt 9.5" ring gear) to raise the cruise rpm to around 2200-2300 in 6th. In the 1/4, I’m shiftin into 4th just before and I cross the line at 3000-3200 rpm. With the 4.56s, It’ll be up around 4500-4700 rpm in fourth.

yea youre combo is totally different then mine. 4500 rpms isnt enough for my old 6.0 to cross traps in rather alone the 6.7
