Tail lights not working

I have a 99 f550 powerstroke dump and none of the tail lights are coming on with the headlights. The wiring is not factory since it is a dump bed and all 6 tail lights are on the bed & rear light bar. I looked for a bad fuse and can not locate it.

The brake lights, turn signals, hazards, and ambers that come on with my strobe all work.

Any ideas where to find the fuse or what else to check???

No problem!

While using google and searching powerstroke.org and checkin the manual…i have not found where this fuse is located. Also the f550 is sold from ford as a cab & chassis. The fuse provided would be on wiring powering 1 (temporary) tail light per side. I would assume that the wiring for that would not be sufficient to run the 6 tail lights (and 2 side amber markers) that are on my dump bed. I could be wrong…so Zex (or anyone) would you be able to tell me or provide an actual link to a page that shows where the factory fuse would be?? (even though I am assuming it would not be used as part of my set up)

Also anyone with a better understanding of dumps being put together if you have any helpful ideas I would I appreciate it.

Looking for help more than smartass comments if possible here as this is for my salt truck and I’m runnin out of time!

Thanks in advance

Thanks Shaggy, after being on hold with allegheny ford trucks sales for over 10 min they were able to find 4 fuses that it could be from the factory…all of which have no visual damage and have power to both sides…

we jumped the battery straight to the harness for the rear and lights worked…so we determined it is something between the battery - to under the dash - to back under the hood pre-harness…
