As mentioned earlier I want to get the Anti Hero eagle across my back
I asked a buddy of mine whose tattoos I like, and he suggested I get a skateboarder to do it, “so they know not to tweak it like a Harley eagle”
he suggested Erich Foster at Rise Above Tattoos, but said he is really hard to get a hold of. He also suggested Cheape’ at Nickel City.
I was just wondering if anyone here had any feedback about htese guys, or could post some of their work. thanks
also, if i get this maybe 9 or 10" wide across the top of my back, how long should I expect to be out of commission for? I play hockey like 4 times a week so I’d like to plan it to miss as little hockey as possible
Kyle at Hand Of Doom is a canadian bowl master. Jon Mirro used to skate too, but he is tattooing in NYC until the middle of march. He and Jon are painting decks of a friend of mine. If you want to get tattoo by Erich, pm me, I have his cell. or stop by his shop any day after 12. You’ll probably be hardpressed to find a tattooer who still skates as their hands are their livelyhood.
EDIT: I didn’t even look at the design, but jon is tattooing the same eagle on my friends chest withoout the banners.
Went to school with Cheape’. Cool dude, also knew of him from American Skin Art. My buddy has all his stuff done by him and I have yet to see bad work from him.
ditto for kyle, just finished up my piece with him on sat night, but me and kyle talk about skating all the time and he keeps telling me about the bowls he skates up in toronto
