texas is the same, but I am still getting raped with taxes…

Its no big deal it will all even itself out when you file your tax return. You’ll just get more back.

1099 is miscellaneous income correct? If so, F that shit. I get taxed out the ass for that kind of income. Last year they tried taking about 50% of my earnings before all my write offs.

Which happend to be a lot of things

Also, not taking away from the O.P
But is there anyway I could fill something out that makes it so the state and feds don’t take anything out of my weekley paycheck? I always get that money back at the end of the year, which I just apply towards my miscellaneous income taxes.
But, is there a way where I could have the most minimal amount taken out of my weekly paycheck? I’d rather put that money in the bank instead of uncle sam holding on to it all year.

You can submit a new W-4 with more dependants. They will take out less for taxes each week. However when you file your tax return, the number of dependants will have to be accurate of course.

Thats what I do. I claim 2 depedants on the W4 and 0 on my tax return. I end up about breaking even every year. You might as well make interest off the excess than letting uncle sam do it.

How many people are clearing 6 figures on here this year? 10-12? That number seems so inflated… and hard to believe, but it sounds like it.
