Might check it out on my next trip to GI
I’ll do lunch there tomorrow.
Ted himself should be there as he has since the building was purchased. Oh yeah…the landlord…Larry Playfair. He stopped in today to talk to Ted. There is a signed Sabres French Connection picture on the wall as well.
My friend told me about this place, said he stopped there today. Good food, good prices. I guess there is a sign that says it is in no way affiliated with Teds lol
Yeah, some lawsuits and stuff.
REIDSSSS on Elmwood in Kenmore
You guys are def a hot dog group :gay:
sweet potatoe fries seal this deal.
and getting an elvis.

I think the Bailey location is the former Pizza Hut at the intersection with Grover. I received a planning board notice about it a couple weeks ago.
There will also be an article in the Buffalo Spree at the end of the month. It should be online according to my buddy who works there. Just posted the article on the facebook page for Theodore’s
The bailey location was an old Pizza Hut, and according to Teddy, they hope to be up and running by the end of August although no specific deadline is in place.
There’s no drama like hot dog drama…
LOL
The new Grand Island Boulevard restaurant is owned and operated by Theodore “Teddy” Liaros. His grandfather and namesake founded Ted’s Hot Dogs in 1927. But he was terminated recently as vice president after 20 years in the family business.
Terminated from a family run business? How do you screw up running a glorofied hot dog stand. They teach that in elementary school when everyone played the Hot Dog Stand game in the computer lab.
You didn’t read the story guy. He was terminated by his own family member who was trying to take control of Ted’s, which he succeeded in. This guy did him one more and went and opened his own hot dog place, thus resulting in Theodores.
I remember that game!
Yeah Teddy (owner of Theodore’s) was terminated by primarily his father, due to “Ted’s wanting to take the business in a new direction” to sugar coat it nicely. Ted and his wife beth actually helped make Ted’s very profitable after it was nearing bankruptcy. Teddy was also the reason there were e over the top Xmas partys for all the managers and then for all their kids. He enjoyed the business and believed in helping those who helped him (coworkers) which is why some of the managers and staff have moved on to Theodore’s. Ted being a music fan and having a studio in his old house, bought me my first real guitar amp ( a Combo 2x12). Ted and Beth and just genuinely nice people and would do anything without hesitation for anyone.
Bump for Channel 4 news interview.
Bump for a food review by Anne Neville: (although my dad said Janice Okun was there)
