Teh new project... like i need another

It’d be lookin good with a set of wheels…

niice raaaims

If you decide to sell those seats, let me know

good job man, glad to see you saved a nice car that could have easily been totalled!

nice car just needs some new wheels those ones are fugly

Screw the haters, get the wheels chromed yo! Then offer to sell the car to me so I can tell you I don’t have enough money haha. Seriously though it looks awesome, I’m glad you stuck with it and brought it back from the dead!

yep, thats where i bought my 04 se-r. when i was driving it, the guy told to shut off the a/c, and floor it. and they had a nice s2000 there when i got mine, silver, lambo doors. it was a liitle too much though. those are some of the coolest car salesman ever though.

I worked on the lambo door s2k up there… that car was not the cleanest.

I started putting the blower on the s2k last night, hopefully in the next couple evenings i’ll get it done and the salvage certificate going.

I have NO idea what wheels i wanna get.

So how bad was it? Was the frame really messed up besides the front and the windshield?

rota D2 with a staggered setup would look perfect!

^^^^Nice wheels, I like!

Do you have a use/goal for the car yet? Early in the thread you talked about staying in a class for AutoX and doing occasional track days. But now you’re puttin’ the SC on it which is going to bump you up. I’m not that familiar w/ S2000 classing, I know its AStock (in mostly stock form) but I’m not sure if it goes to ASP then SM2. If that’s the case the SC will get you at least into ASP which is a gnarly fast class.

nice only 25k miles

The frame horns were the worst, most everything to the strut towers. Its all been pulled and massaged straight.

I’m going to assume the scca class would be Modified, not a Street Prepared. thats fine, im not trying to be the fastest there… its been over 3 years since i’ve even been through the cones.

I’ve been thinking about the rota’s, but also am not rolling out the staggered slipstreams:

or volks similar in color:

or advan’s (knock offs of course):

yep, can’t have a power adder added in SP.

get the volks, powder coat the middle black and leave the lip the gold-ish bronze color.

I’ve always thought the wheels Wagner had on his 240 would look badass on a S2000 (just in a color that matched up with the car, I dunno how the black on white wheels would look with yours haha).

As far as classing, your building the car for fun anyways so I’m not going to sway you  Long as it can get the power down it shouldn’t be to bad. We had a turbo S2k show up over the summer, that seemed like one of the bigger issues watching it on course.

I’ll always be a fan of torque over hp around cones. My 87 vette is hands down the most fun at autox.

Those white wheels on that 240 should be out there in a generic form… too bad 240 offset doesnt work.

Sorta off-topic but my buddy just bought a brand new S2K (also black on black). What’s the best option for boost out there for them? Turbo vs. SC? Brand etc.

People make power with both… im sure there are hours of reading on s2ki.com about that.

Yea I was generically looking around on tire rack just seeing what they had as recommended for a S2000. I did find the wheels on John’s 240, but according to them the size won’t work.

Few others I really liked that probably don’t fit haha.
