On Greg’s side with this one. Though you were in the scene, I don’t recall ever seeing you out until you got the Poopra. And I’ve been going out since 2000-2001.
Then you didn’t know me. I had my teg out in full force. I fucking lived at Hot Import Hoffmans at night. Course… you couldn’t drive then.
90 Integra LS was 01.
You were too good for me, that’s why. I hung out w/ the OG triple OGs. Like Wayne.
Sorry Wayne. So many nut swingers grabbing for a hand hold…I had to let go.
remember ry guy coming out in the prelude way back
Only reason I wasn’t in the scene in 01 was because I was a little occupied in the Marines already LOL
And it’s not like I didn’t know you considering we basically grew up together ya fuck! I (like Cossey) never saw you around until the Supra. I used to go to Hoffman’s back in my SWAT car club days when I had my gold Prelude!
I used to drive by all you car fags at Hoffmans and at the lot thinking you guys were big homos…
And I still do.
yall sound like a bunch of pole smokers
we still are
If you put a stack on that truck, you would be forced to register on the sex offenders website. The stack and a mustache would be the only way to heighten the stereotypes associated with that truck… LOL
hide yo kids hide yo wife.
I would lock this thread if I could
Nah most stance fools run air
I mean you can set up bags to be awesome for sure but my gripe is you can’t drive super low and still have a high enough pressure/effective spring rate to do so safely/smoothly AND have the lift that you’d want with air. It’s kind of counterproductive. You can definitely have one of those things or some of each but not all of both. That’s why air-cups or hydraulic lift kits in are ideal IMO and what I’m personally saving for (air cups). I’m not about dropping my car on the floor when I park but more about having complete drivability at a very low height and lift when I need it. Not really sure why other people hate bags but just to clarify my reasoning. I love that you totally hate everything I do but you’re still cool with me kk hahah<3
LOOOL No offense ollie. I was just bitching a lil in this reply in general. Alot has to do with whoever installed my DAMN LIFT at the shop, its arms are too long and if you dont have a car dead on where it needs to be they wont lift right… so driving on a billion pieces of wood is a royal pain in the ass! lol So i get a lil sour at times. hahaha
You bring up a good point, and thats why I like you Ollie! We both take the ball busting but know our shit well enough to understand both sides of the coin and have a nice convo. there is a sweet spot designed into the bag. PSI = spring rate. Alot of bagged cars on NON ADJUSTABLE bag setups ride like shit at low psi/ride heights because its well outside the sweet spot. Like you said those are not built and configured correctly, just like a dumpy static setup too. Good air setups, like in my brothers audi have threaded struts and bag cups. so you can spin the bag up or down the shaft. If you put 60 psi into the bag to get the right spring rate for the vehicles weight (then adjust the rebound and compression too) its operating in that sweet spot and will ride like a DREAM. Then all you do is spin the bag up the struts to achieve the ride height you want it to be at. Can be as high or low as it wants to be… just like a coil over setup. Then you naturally have the ability to put it on its frame or MM’s above it by letting air out and still having just enough left in the bags to keep it “close enough” to the sweet spot to not ride like dick.
Static guys, hydro lift kits? I assume they are the hydro bump stops used in off roading? Add pressure to them and they extend out/down, have a rubber snub that contacts an axle or control arm and lifts the car? If thats the case, thats a damn good idea!
