The 2014 Camaro Looks Better...

umm Saturn ion.

Love the new z28

dude, where you been? he been on with Kelly for a couple years now.

It’s a retro 79-81.

The Recaro’s are a $1995 option on all SS’s now. I would have done it if I could just order 1. The passenger can sit on a milk crate for all I care, lol. Supposedly they might make them a dealer merchandise item as well.

love the front, HATE the rear

the rear reminds me of those horrible early 80s Thunderbirds.

I’m drinking the same Kool-aid. Although, I’m more into the new mustang coming out than any of the retro styled cars. Hopefully it doesn’t come out looking cocked up.

The new Mustang looks like a Fusion. Spy photos have been revealed.

I don’t think the new mustang is gonna look good, if the spy photos are really hiding some magical design maybe it will be ok looking.

GM did a “dry” lap at the ring with the Z/28 but it was still cold out. It did it in:

7:31.9

It’s not official as they didn’t have all of the camera’s rolling, but they did have the data acquisition stuff running. They’ll hit 7:20’s with it when it gets a little warmer and the track gets stickier. It’s already in some exclusive company with it’ “wet” run of 7:37.xx, it’s un-official dry run puts it right behind the Porsche Carrera GT.

Recalled… lol:

The law is the law, but you have to wonder about some recalls, especially the one issued Tuesday for the Chevrolet Camaro.

Chevrolet is recalling 2013 and 2014 Camaros because the air bag warning label on the sun visor may be peeling off. The label in question is the one what warns drivers and passengers about the risks of air bag deployments, namely that kids and smaller people may get bopped in the face and cut by the air bag, even as it saves them from serious injuries in a crash.

Really? Does anyone read that label anymore? And as the car ages, isn’t it going to peel off anyway?

Chevy says in its letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it may replace the label if its peeling. Or in some case, it may replace the whole visor.

Owners are supposed to take a look. If the sticker is still sticking, they can send a note saying everything is okay and opt out of the recall. Everyone else is urged to bring their cars to their dealers.

LOL GM

Z/28 starting price is $75,000

It’s an impressive car but

You know some high school kid with his '95 Z/28 is going to use that in a casual car conversation… “Bro, these cars are $75k brand new!”

insane, you could buy like 25 ZR1s for that money

75k and still fake rear qtr vents…:slap:

If you think about that cost compared to the 70k c6 Z06 it’s honestly not that bad. The brakes alone are a HUGE cost on these. The carbon ceramic rotor upgrade with pads and lines for a GTR is $12,699 and those are comparable in size to the ones that come factory on this car. I’m sure everyone will use the “yeah yeah but it’s a Camaro argument”. The ls7 is also hand built, has titanium connecting rods and high dollar internal parts. That engine also costs more than the zr1 motor through GM…

I’m not saying its not worth it.

Just a 70k Camaro is a lot same thing with a 70k+ Mustang…

I’m sure everyone on this forum will be sticker shocked, save for a select few but it’s tough arguing that you don’t get your monies worth on it. I bet GM won’t have a problem selling these just like the cobra doesn’t have a problem selling at 65k plus haha.

So you are telling me I can look at an M4 in 2015 or some high end foreign car for the same price of an “American build” car? What happened to American cars being built cheaper because its domestic? Sorry but prices of cars are getting out of hand and the amount of gadgets on them are not needed. I’d prefer the foreign car at that price or the new Vette.

This car has no sound system or even AC.
