This car goes 12.6 at 107 on stock 19" wheels with 405whp, then adds light drag wheels/slicks/skinnies and goes 11.8’s at 118?? it picks up 11 mph with just skinnies/slicks??? That doesnt add up
it was tuned also,Those guys know their shit!
Exactly. I think it’s a great car, but the sack swingers are hyping it up to an annoying fart can point.
This thread still sucks
asian people suck but we don’t say anything
SICK!!! Love it shaggy!!!
I’ve always been a GM guy (and pretty much an anti Ford guy), but I’d take the new Mustang anyday over a new Camaro or Challenger, regardless of how much faster the Camaro is. For a daily driver, the Mustang wins in my book.
Seriously, how would anyone on here want a POS 4th gen Fbody (that squeaks and rattles, and generally is cheap/shitty inside & out) just because it is a tenth or two faster than the 5.0? They really aren’t all that comfortable either. I’m no fan of the 2010 Camaro either. It is ugly (it’s grown on me a little, but still ugly), and Ford owns GM on the interior design. Lighter weight + better handling seals the deal. I’d be happy with a 2010 'Stang, but the 412hp 5.0L is light years ahead.
The only negative I see on the Mustang is it is a little snug for us bigger guys. The Camaro isn’t much better. The Challenger has all kinds of room but is too big/heavy.
2011 Mustang > 2010 Challenger > 2010 Camaro

Lies! with an obnoxious catback there are no squeaks or rattles. Fbody for life.
And I for one actually think the 4th gen seats are very comfortable. lumbar adjustment, side bolster support adjustment, basically all adjustable. Not bad. But then again, i never sat in a new stang. I have been in the 2010 camaro but was too drunk to remember what the seats felt like
Badass… but those wheels looked like they belong on a family sedan.
A 1964 GTO weighs around 3500 and a 64 galaxie 500 weighs about 3600 lbs and that is bigger than a traditional muscle car. What muscle car weighed 4K lbs. or more?
68 nova under 3400…well til i get in

my '66 GTO is around 3800 lbs w/o A/C. A/C adds another 100 or so lbs.
I don’t have ABS, TCS, TPS, Airbags, big stereo, sound deadening, or any other modern automotive acronym. Imagine how heavy it would be if it did.
but u got REAL metal & a full frame, camaro’s didnt but still weight about the same as todays camaro’s!
Thats why yall need to get a thirdgen, you can get them down in the 3100-3200 lb without much effort. My old car was 3320 lbs with drag wheels, full trim/half tank gas. Less options and interior you will be down in the low 3200’s.
Have any you actually been on a full legit scale that is certified ? No not your bathrooms
I bet these numbers yins are throwing are way off in the real world
Come down to my work. I’ll print you off a cool looking scale ticket
Shaggy beat me to it, but curious as to how many of you drag guys have really scaled or cornerweighted your cars. I’m no drag guy, but I’d think there is a benefit to weight bias and a subsequent time loss as well.
I did @ the race track(NMAC EVENTS)My weight was 3410 fuel tank full,full bottle,me subframes 6 point & a 12 bolt!no ac,back seat 150lbs of wiring amps & no abs
good job on the english. even though was not pointing the post at you
Oh for the record. I mean actually certified. D.O.T or whatever State agency certifies it.
Not at a ricer /wheat/kraut event.
