Mustang:
-junk the god awful 7.5" rear end with 2:43s for my 8.8 with 3:37s
Before that goes in:
-new KYB non-adjustable shocks and quad shocks
-new drums and shoes
-all new urethane bushings for all the control arms
-remove diff cover and change fluid
-clean and give a good coat of POR 15
-might as well do the fuel filter while im under there
-remove old and worn out mechanical fan and replace with Lincoln Mark VIII electric fan
and add a Ford 3G alternator to support it
-remove tranny pan and tap for trans temp sensor
-new torque converter (not happy at all with the B&M i have in there now)
-new tires all the way around
-find and remedy misc. interior panel rattles and creaks that drive me NUTS

then for the BIG winter project…
-remove all bumpers, moldings, etc and prep
-paint the entire car, and replace all GT bumpers, moldings and spoiler for LX ones
-restore all window trim moldings
-repair/restore quarter window moldings
-ALL new weatherstripping
-new gas shocks for the hatch
-new headlights

so yeah i have a lot of work ahead of me. i have just about everything i need to do all the work, just need to do it. this year was getting the car running good and “moving” and next year is going to be making it look good and “move” a little better. i think by next summer i will be VERY happy with the car and have it where i want it.

Tibby: rebuild old motor with:
Intake cam
p&p head
11.1 pistons
beta2 oil pan
Ported IM
Ported or BBTB

Neon R/T:
replace hood, fender, headlight (fix damage)
New Rad
Strip everything
Wheel spacers
New Brakes

taking the stock LS1 and adding:
-L92 heads
-Custom cam
-new intake need help, see below
-tranny service/flush (6speed)
-rear end service/flush (moser 12-bolt)
-fixing gouge on the hood from the god damn screwdriver
-painting bumper cover

Anyone have any advice on what intake would work well with this combo and would i need a throttle body as well??

LS6 intake, FAST intake etc. I have no idea

fuckit…

this isnt really a winter build…its more of a the rest of this year/most of next year build.

stock motor is out, most of my old mods are sold.

-boring the block to .020" over
-JE 9:1 pistons
-Eagle rods
-bearings, seals, you know the drill
-cometic head gaskets
-arp head/main studs and rod bolts
-not sure on cams / valve springs. heads might just stay stock
-MSP exhaust manifolds
-twin GT2860R turbos from the hks skyline kit, modified to fit my vg30
-staying internal wastegated cuz im not about to try to stuff even more into that tiny engine bay…
-split downpipes
-keeping my HKS intercoolers
-800 or 850cc injectors
-‘300 degree’ fuel rail
-aem ems
-2 widebands
-2 tial bov’s (no more stupid loud rfl’s)

oh and jspec tail lights

i know theres more im not thinking of but thats the bulk of it. see you guys in …i have no idea.

is your block stock? you cant run L92 heads on a stock bore LS1 iirc

951
-replace cracked racing pressure plate
-swap transmissions
-bigger IC
-wider wheels
-coilovers
-run more boost

could be more but have to see what the budget is

yes my block is stock, why won’t they fit??

paint work. possible widebody

rear dif change to accomodate the center dif i already have

clean the engine bay

motor work is done

Camaro

-Cam kit (probably Trex/maybe MS3)
-textralia or cartek clutch
-pump and injectors
-bottle heater
-clean up n2o wiring
-little shit like ported oil pump and other misc stuff that i can’t remember.

Any suggestions on another good set of heads??

Build a stroker with an L92 or iron 6.0 block and then use the L92 heads and L76 intake or if you really want to stick with your stock block just run some Ls6 or 5.3L heads

the stroker L92 was the original plan but I don’t feel like spending that much money any more…

-L92 heads are a no go on stock 3.898 bore. They work okay on a 4.00" bore but are still shrouded pretty good from the cylinder walls.

AFR 205cc heads along with a mild camshaft, FAST 90/90 combo is good for 425-450 rwhp all day long with TORQUE to spare

scotts right, both of those heads will make pretty good power for a lot less then an ET or AFR head will cost.

Audi is coming off the road this weekend for the following maintenance

  • Front control arms
  • Tie rods
  • Subframe Bushings
  • Front Axle CV Boots, inners & outers
  • Drill out camber plates so I can get alignment in spec
  • Oil & Filter
  • Diagnose rear suspension rattle

Once Im done with that I have some work on the supra that I would like to do

  • Streetable clutch, the 6 puck makes the car a chore to drive
  • Fix rear main seal leak
  • Fabricate a catch can to keep oil of exhaust from my crankcase vent
  • Fabricate new turbo intake
Maybe also do the following if I decide to turn the supra into something I can do lapping days with.
  • Coilovers, rollcage, harnesses, oil cooler, better ps steering cooler, wheels & tires, brakes & pads
