A few hours of detailing to get out all the buffer swirls from when I got the car. I did everything by hand and I’m extremely pleased with the results.
Just need to get some springs so the stance doesn’t suck. Bitch looks like a monster truck:headbang:
I’ll get some direct sunlight pictures in the morning
Thanks guys! Black is a huge PITA, but I think the end result is the most rewarding than with any other color.
Here’s what I did:
I wash with nano wash and wax, forgot who makes it, lol.
Chamois the car down.
Claybar, and use the Meguiars quick detail spray.
Meguiars cleaner wax with a microfiber pad
Collonite’s insulator wax with a microfiber pad, and wipe it down with a terry cloth.
I use goodyear wheel and tire cleaner with a firm bristled brush on the tires, and a tooth brush on the rim and caliper. I use Armor-all Tire wet on my tires.
I’m new to the detailing world as well. The more I looked at my car and saw the swirls the more it pissed me off enough to finally spend the whole afternoon on my day off making the car look good enough to make me happy with it again
