That is the speculation, but they are stating that it’s a different model than the z28. Official announcement is tomorrow am.

It’s a V6 twin turbo built by GM (that’s why it’s in the GM display). Features turbonetics turbos.
GM design worked with Jay Leno on the design of this car.
So when autoblog says that they are 99.99% sure it is the Z28. How could it not be?
I didn’t think the interwebs could be wrong.

Still no sign of an official Z28. But the Leno Camaro got a lot of praise.
When Lutz was running his mouth the other day he said:

Would be lame if the Z28 version has less cylinders than the SS version.

I agree and they are not saying that the Z28 would be a V6TT.
I think the V6TT only had 428 HP which is about the same as the V8, I think the would consider it to compete with the econobooooooooost mustang that will be coming out.

Like I said before, I love GM products but also hate them. Way to make a T-Top or vert version of the car losers.
